The Largo Central Railroad (LCRR), founded in 1991, was built and
is now maintained through the work and dedication of the LCRR club
members and through generous donations from the people of Largo,
Florida. We currently have approximately 1.2 miles of main line track
with numerous passing sidings running through beautifully landscaped
Largo Central Park. Public runs are held on the first full weekend of
each month. Second and fourth weekends are "FUN Run" weekends
for members and associate members.Third weekends are work weekends.
Fifth weekends are mini-meet weekends.  If you have any questions,

to anyone with interest in large-scale model railroading and the hobby
of live steam.
Guidelines for Riding on the Largo Central Railroad

All persons riding the train MUST sign the standard waiver of liability form prior to boarding. These
forms will be available on the day you choose to ride but are also available on our web site...

The following rules allow us to provide everyone with a safe and fun ride through the park. Your
cooperation is appreciated.

   . Children must be at least one year of age to ride.
   . All passengers must wear shoes while riding the train or in the train station/boarding area.
   . All riders must remain seated with their feet on the running boards for the duration of the ride.
   . All riders must refrain from reaching out to grab any foliage while the train is in motion.
   . Riders must not attempt to board or disembark while the train is in motion.
   . Riders must not attempt to retrieve any fallen item while the train is in motion.
   . Riders must remain seated facing the direction of travel while the train is in motion.


Additionally, rocking the riding cars is dangerous and may cause the train to derail. Such rocking can
occur if the riders move about excessively while the train is in motion. Derailments can cause bodily
injury to riders as well damage the equipment. Such activity is strictly prohibited. Riders engaging in
this activity will be removed from the train.


A rider raising their hand and keeping it up will cause the conductor to stop the train. Should you drop
an item, please follow this procedure. The train will quickly come to a stop and you can safely retrieve
your item.

All riders must obey any instructions given them by any member of the train crew or station staff.

In the event that individuals refuse to cooperate with any of the rules above or verbally communicated by the train crew or station staff on the day of the event, Largo Central Railroad reserves the right to refuse to board any such individual for the remainder of the event. If, in the opinion of Largo Central Railroad, operation of the train is unsafe due to the refusal of participants to obey any of the rules above or verbally communicated by the train crew or station staff on the day of the event, Largo Central Railroad reserves the right to cancel the event.

Parties that have rented a pavilion from the Largo Parks Department during the public run weekend (first full weekend each month) must wait in line to ride as must all other patrons. Having large numbers of people cut in at the head of the line will not be tolerated. Persons engaging in this behavior will not be permitted to ride.

While we do not anticipate that these issues will arise with your group, we are obligated to share our expectations of your partyˇ¦s behavior while enjoying our railroad.
